George W. married Sarah Jane McGill and had at least 3 offspring; Mary E., born 1858, Bonnie E. and Eldgen E. Bonnie and Eldgen were twins born January 28, 1862. Bonnie died on September 28, 1862, and Eldgen only lived for 2 years, dying on August 7, 1864. The twins are buried at Sharon Cemetery in the Crotzer family plot. It appears that George and his descendents spelled their last name Crotzer. This cemetery is located just north of Vandalia on the west side of Route 51. Many of the Crotser family are buried there.
 Son John died in Ramsey on February 7, 1881. No further information has been found on him.
 Daughter Mary Catherine married John Cline in Montgomery County, Illinois on December 31, 1857.
