Thomas Troutman has been kind enough to allow me to link to portions of his homepage.  He has written "Descending Jacob's Ladder",  the story of his families' history.  His work contains information on the early Germans that came to America.  From my research, I have concluded that my Crotser family members were among the early settlers of Pennsylvania that then moved to Rowan County, North Carolia.  I provide links below to three areas of his book.
